Senior Sales Operations Manager, Systems

We’re looking for an ambitious Senior Sales Operations Manager to join Bolt Business. You will be the face of the sales tools used by the business, responsible for the overall management of the platforms (Salesforce and Groove).

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing configurations on Salesforce.com. You will develop methodology and best practices for the sales teams, and drive platform adoption of all users. Additionally, you will manage the Salesforce roadmap and all platform initiatives, and you will be involved in growth strategy discussions alongside Country Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Head of Sales Operations.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Manage a systems team comprised of an administrator and developer
  • Partner with Sales and Head of Sales Operations to determine Sales Cloud needs and opportunities in order to develop the roadmap
  • Ownership and management of the Change Review Board and change process
  • Weigh the level of effort and importance and/or time expended on roadmap initiatives
  • Act as Project Manager for all enhancement and maintenance projects related to Sales Cloud
  • Develop and maintain a backlog of enhancements and fixes
  • Communicate and report project status to Sales leadership and Head of Sales Operations, including license usage, license availability, budget, risks and general business issues.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our database
  • Maintain and optimise Workflows, Process Builders, Flows, custom settings, page layouts, Lightning pages etc
  • Act as a conduit for managing all functional change requests, defects and issues on behalf of the business
  • Act as a conduit for managing security issues on behalf of the business and work with our Privacy Team
  • Management and administration of environments, including change set deployments, testing, data loading, etc
  • Management of project delivery teams upon the release of projects through UAT, go-live and BAU
  • Acting as the gatekeeper for Production, UAT and Training environments ensuring change sets are deployed appropriately
  • Own the user adoption of Salesforce.com and ensure Sales teams are getting the most from the tool.
  • Partner with our Product and Engineering team to build an integration with our backend admin tool
  • Primary liaison with other technology partners, and ownership of the integrations
  • Stay updated on the platform’s new tools, capabilities, and updates
  • Assist with special projects as directed by Sales or Head of Sales Operations


About you:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Information Technology is required
  • 5+ years working experience within Sales Operations or Revenue Operations function
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and other Integrated technology solutions
  • Experience leading discovery workshops, including solution presentations and prototype demonstrations
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator Sales Cloud
  • Certified Platform App Builder
  • Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator
  • Worked in a BAU function
  • Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team members
  • Proactive desire to continue to broaden and deepen business and consulting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Capable of managing a variety of complex issues while driving momentum of key projects
  • Strategic mindset and exceptional communication skills
