Quilt

Sales Operations Lead

Quilt Redwood City, CA

Our mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. To stop climate change, over 80M US homes need to transition from combustion to efficient, electric heat pumps over the coming decades.

We believe for this to happen the world needs fantastic products that are easy and desirable to purchase. Today's heat pumps lack great design, make limited use of software, and are difficult and stressful to adopt. We are building a next generation, beautifully designed, AI optimized home heating and cooling system that is 10x better than what is on the market today. And we are making it easy to purchase and adopt by managing all sales, rebates, permitting and installation for our customers.

Role

Quilt is hiring our first Sales Operations Lead to establish the sales ops function. Quilt has many thousands of high-intent homeowners on a fast growing waitlist for our product that averages $30K per sale. As we grow our sales team to help these customers adopt Quilt, the Sales Operations Lead will establish a core set of metrics, processes and technology platforms that enable the team to deliver an incredible customer experience.

A core element of Quilt's strategy is to dramatically change the way that home HVAC systems are bought and sold, making the experience customer-centric and empowering. Delivering on this objective requires great process design and execution. The Sales Operations Lead role is a central contributor to building the foundation of this process as a trusted advisor and partner to Quilt's sales and executive leadership. This is an excellent role for someone who has seen what customer-centric sales excellence looks like and is eager to work with an ambitious team to build out a foundation from the beginning.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain management and installation service teams to efficiently match customer demand to equipment supply and service capacity
  • Be a thought partner to Quilt's executive team and founders on building a culture of sales and customer experience excellence
