About the Role

Wheel is seeking a Sales Operations Manager who has a background in traditional Sales Operations, tools, process, and analysis who will be responsible for providing operational expertise, insights and support to help Wheel’s Commercial team reach our growth goals. As our Sales Operations Manager, you will help Wheel retain and grow our book of business, accelerate growth, manage sales and support tools, evaluate third-party solutions appropriate for GTM Operations functions, and strengthen go-to-market operations to scale across our business.

This position will work cross functionally across Wheel’s Sales, Client Success, Marketing and Finance teams and play a key role in ensuring Commercial team readiness, evaluating and reporting on key operational metrics, helping to drive sales productivity through tools, optimizing sales execution, and providing insights on results.

What You’ll Do

  • Complete ownership of Wheel’s CRM system, Salesforce.com. Design, oversee and continuously improve reporting and insights into our Commercial / GTM functions, across Sales, CS and collaboration with Marketing
  • Own Salesforce.com rules, process, and ongoing data integrity to increase functionality to improve team process and usage of Salesforce.com
  • Creation of reports, dashboards and flows in Salesforce.com
  • Deliver systems and process reinforcement to new hires and manage on-going Salesforce.com usability and efficiency training as needed
  • Support Commercial processes with data from Salesforce.com to help drive improvements
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Finance to ensure all teams are aligned on goals, data and opportunities for improvement to our sales process and pipeline objectives
  • Evaluate tools to improve Commercial efficiency and effectiveness, manage vendor contract and relationship, oversee the implementation and on-going support
  • Familiarity with Salesloft, Linkedin Navigator, Lusha, CB Insights, Looker and other tools preferred
  • In coordination with Commercial leadership and finance, administer sales quotas, quota attainment, compensation plans, territory management, program rules, policies, and procedures
  • Participate and lead process improvement initiatives both internal to segment and across segments as determined by Commercial leadership
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on sales GTM process, tracking and administration of new sales campaigns and products
  • Partner with Commercial leadership to oversee day-to-day process execution and adherence to policies, identify problems, recommend/take corrective action and communicate performance results and/or changes throughout GTM organization and cross-functional business unit team
  • Create, update, and maintain sales content consistently, as part of the sales training library and in collaboration with Marketing and Product
  • Work on broader Commercial Operations projects or initiatives as requested

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 3-5+ years of Sales Operations, Business Operations and/or Finance experience
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com is required
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is required
  • Industry experience in healthcare or healthtech is a nice to have
  • Strong skills and ability to manipulate data in a variety of formats, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets, is required
  • An understanding of relational databases, including the ability to handle data manipulation via queries
  • Ability to work independently and work within a team environment
  • Self starter with a strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and execute across competing priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills including cross functional team facilitation
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
