About The Role

The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the President and CEO, the CRO will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to provide strategic leadership guidance and execution support for comprehensive revenue generation strategies, streamline and optimize sales and pricing strategies, expand into new customer segments and partnerships to achieve the company's strategic goals and objectives that drive long-term sustainable growth and profitability.

The CRO plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and overseeing the financial performance of our business - one of Canada’s largest ESOPs and one of the fastest-growing full-line electrical wholesalers in North America.

Position Type/Schedule

This role is a hybrid (remote/office) full-time position.

What are the Key Accountabilities?

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set revenue growth targets, optimize pricing strategies, and ensure alignment with the long term and sustainable growth of the company.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth across all business segments.
  • The CRO is a forward-thinking leader who can collaborate effectively and demonstrate strategic leadership, fostering motivation, coaching, mentorship, and inspiration among the leadership and branch teams.
  • Provide leadership guidance and support to ensure alignment across all revenue-generating functions and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive business development, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to acquire and retain customers.

What You’ll Bring to This Role?

  • 15+ years of experience in similar executive leadership role in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
  • A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred.
  • Experience working within an Employee Share Ownership Program (ESOP) and/or a Publicly Traded Company is highly valued.
  • Proven track record of success in revenue-generating leadership roles, preferably within the Electrical Wholesale distribution or related industry.
  • Level 5 leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing profit and loss statements (P&L) and driving profitable growth.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing teams focused on integrated sales and marketing strategies, high-performing branch leadership, inventory asset management, e-commerce sales, and strategic planning.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Canada and the US and as needed for business operations.
  • Possess a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Active involvement in community engagement activities is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to form strategic partnerships, build relationships, and respect cultural diversity; ability to be inclusive, collaborative, and respectful.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
