Sales Operations Analyst

The Role

This role requires a talented and collaborative individual, who is detailed and process-oriented, able to demonstrate initiative to carry out day to day sales operation duties. The effectiveness of driven individuals are put to the test daily. The role holder acts as a key support and business partner to the Sales Team in EMEA and reports directly to the Sales Operations Manager of EMEA & APAC. You can expect a great level of collaboration and appreciation from your peers in the accomplishment of your objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Sales and the other departments (Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain) to ensure quotes are accurately done and sales orders received are in compliant with A10 policies and processed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving pricing and deal structure, ensuring compliance with price structure, profitability, and solution components. Assist sales to ease the deal approval process at every stage of the sales cycle
  • Achieves a high degree of familiarity with an in-depth knowledge of field/headquarter sales policies and procedures
  • Act as key support and business partner to assigned sales teams
  • Monitors and ensures opportunity and quote data hygiene
  • Review paperwork against checklists for order processing
  • Work closely with internal logistics team to ensure backlogs are shipped as scheduled
  • Heavily involved in month-end and quarter-end closing. Ensure orders are processed on time to meet the monthly target
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure pipelines cleanliness
  • Work closely with field sales & engineers to ensure Demo assets are tracked closely
  • Ensure field sales team are trained and knowledgeable on all processes and procedures
  • Ensure external business partners are trained on our order and shipment procedure and requirement
  • Participate in cross-functional teams activities that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations
  • Assist Regional leaders in weekly meetings, monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables
  • Attend meetings (QBRs) to gain a better and broader understanding of the region business objectives
  • Any other administrative duties that might be assigned to you

Desired Skills/ Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of sales operations and analysis experience
  • Experience supporting in EMEA countries a definite plus
  • Experience in Deal Desk duties a definite plus
  • Deep understanding of sales process and supporting business functions
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Self-driven, dependable, excellent problem-solving skill, detail-oriented and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to establish own priorities, initiatives, and drive to closure
  • Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management teams and external business partners
  • Ability to work under pressure and good with time management
  • Must be able to work independently and a Team player at the same time
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Clari and Oracle as business tools a definite plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Note: Duties may require working outside your normal working hours (evenings and weekends at end of month & quarter)
