About the role:

CHANEL is looking for a Specialist to join our Sales Operation Systems & Support Team in our Fragrance & Beauty division in New York. You will play a leading role in managing systems that support our POS merchandising directives within the brick and motor distribution landscape. This role interfaces with F&B Marketing, Store Design, Production/Procurement, third party vendors, and is a key partner for the Sales Field organization. In this role, you will be responsible for the fulfillment of POS Counter Maintenance requests, overall Counter Care support and budget management. As a counter care expert, you will work closely with third-party vendors to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner and to our brand standards. This role will also be responsible for driving sustainability initiatives. The Sales Operation Systems & Support Specialist will work alongside a diverse and dynamic team and will report to the Sales Operation Systems Senior Manager.

What impact you can create at CHANEL:


  • Drive systems and future enhancements to meet divisional vision and goals
  • Collaborate with teams to develop content strategies for systems
  • Improve image at point of sale through maintenance request fulfillment in 300+ custom counters
  • Develop and conduct trainings for Sales Field as needed
  • Leverage system reports to run trend analysis and influence future strategies, share feedback on common themes to cross divisional teams
  • Reduce completion time by identifying new items to order for on-hand-storage, ultimately minimize sourcing material lead times
  • Reduce waste by keeping sustainability at the forefront in how we work
  • Record and manage invoice processing coding and confirm payment receipts
  • Lead weekly progress calls with third-party vendors, minimize delays and support prioritization
  • Support budget strategies and protect projected spend
  • Responsible for maintaining door assignment (hierarchy) information in systems (SAP)

  • Curious, driven, and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills with aesthetic sensibility
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with systems and databases preferred (SAP, Yoobic, Smartsheet, Worksmith)


Position Logistics:


  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years
  • Limited Domestic Travel, 1-2x year
  • Partially Remote: minimum of three days in-person office presence at New York City office.

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 through $90,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.
