Head of Sales - Remote - #7629
Global organization is hiring for a Head of Sales position to lead a sales team in their assigned territory. This is a remote position in which the candidate can live anywhere in the United States. The ideal candidate understands the need to continue the growth trajectory and keep pace with the ever-unfolding developments in the veterinary space. They will ensure the business stays on track within the specified timeframe, as that is vital to future success.
Central to this role will be continuously seeking improvements in all areas of business development activities with responsibility for the management of the U.S. Sales Operations.
The incumbent will lead and manage sales activity in the U.S., define and execute sales strategies, set targets, sales revenues, and sales initiatives to meet objectives set out in the company's business plan.
The incumbent will manage the sales reporting across their team, and run/ direct monthly sales meetings, execute sales plans, lead sales and client-relationship management, track new markets, build & maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, set & deliver annual sales budgets, develop direct reports with defined objectives, and more.
Qualifications include having commercial leadership skills, financial management awareness, a high level of commercial acumen, analytical & solutions focus, experience in a role managing a sales team, academic achievement (degree), be highly motivated and an excellent communicator, strong organizational skills, and more.
This position does require travel, some including international - must have the capacity to undertake all travel requirements.
