We are seeking an experienced, sales-oriented,
Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to accelerate growth and expand sales.
This role might suit
someone seasoned in the startup or venture capital space, ready to re-engage founders and funders with our unique approach.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the top of the sales funnel with a deep understanding of customer acquisition, lead optimization, and the sales process
- Expand and leverage our growing network of startups, VCs, incubators, and accelerators
- Take a hands-on approach in overseeing the day-to-day operations of sales and lead generation, driving and managing sales optimization
- Have immediate ideas for expanding sales, which is to say, after taking a good look at the business say to yourself, “What’s taking so long? :) I could bring 100 startup customers in 90 days. Here’s how I would do that.”
- Embrace the existing Funded.club business approach, agreeing to stay focused on our ideal customer and perfect delivery models
- Commit time and energy to Funded.club for a sales-centric initiative lasting 18-36 months
Qualifications
- Prior experience as Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Sales Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Sales, VP of Sales, or similar
- Successful track record of increasing sales and scaling revenue, especially for early/growth-stage companies
- Experience building and managing high-functioning B2B sales teams, ideally for a service business
- Maintains an existing network of leverageable startup, VC, and funder relationships
- Experience managing marketing teams (or agencies) for B2B lead generation
- An entrepreneurial mindset, invigorated by the challenge of working towards ambitious targets
- Potential to lead a $100 million business
