What You’ll Do
- Develop and executive a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with PACKIT’s growth objects by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities in major markets and specialty chains
- Creating business development opportunities that maximize growth for the organization and long term value for our consumers
- Oversee all sales operations specifically wholesale channels, ensuring seamless integration and execution for prospective opportunities and partnerships
- Partner with our e-commerce and product development team to collaborate on our omni channel sales strategy that creates a consistent consumer experience across all channels online and in person
- Lead, mentor, and motivate an existing sales team to achieve peak performance by establishing clear goals, KPI’s, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment on sales strategy and long term growth across the organization
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, driving growth and expanding shelf space while leveraging data driven insights to refine sales tactics and optimize product placement across retail and online platforms
- Exceptional negotiation and rapport building capabilities
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market developments while also partnering closely with the marketing and product teams to develop region-specific campaigns and product offerings
- Manage sales budget, forecast revenue and report on performance to executive team and stakeholders
- Drive profitability by optimizing price strategies, negotiating contracts, and mitigating risks to ensure the company is meeting its financial goals
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, customer-centricity and fun amongst the team and company
Who You Are
- 7-10+ years of proven and progressive sales leadership experience within the consumer goods or related industries space. Experience with premium branding and wholesale channels is essential for this role
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing large accounts and expanding into new markets with appreciation for tactical sales and promotion strategies
- Expert in all facets of business development including research, development, competitive analysis, relationship building, and strategy development
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including major retailers
- Proficiency in sales analytics, forecasting, and reporting with the ability to make data driven decisions
- Strong desire to inspire, lead and manage a high performing sales team and inspire confidence among the group
- Strategic mindsight who excels in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with broader business goals
