Strategic Revenue Planning And Generation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy in alignment with our mission and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams such as government grants, corporate partnerships, major gifts, and fundraising activities.
- Lead fundraising initiatives from donor engagement to stewardship, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
Support Of The President And CEO
- Provide confidential support and strategic advice to the President.
- Drive strategic transformation focusing on revenue opportunities like government grants and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the President and Marketing/Communications teams to craft a compelling brand message.
- Work closely with Legal and Finance teams on contracts, audits, and compliance.
Organizational Strategy Execution And Performance
- Engage with partners and government entities to secure resources and build alliances.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership to implement organizational strategies.
- Monitor and communicate performance against strategic metrics.
- Offer insights on revenue opportunities and special projects.
Team Leadership
- Establish and lead a high-performing revenue team that fosters a collaborative culture.
- Support the professional development of team members and provide executive leadership to the staff.
Partnership Development
- Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations.
- Develop engagement strategies for U.S. government grants, contracts, and funding opportunities.
- Represent the organization at external events to enhance visibility and advance our mission.
Financial Management
- Analyze revenue performance and provide updates to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to revenue activities.
- Alert senior management to significant shifts in performance.
Innovation And Best Practices
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in nonprofit fundraising.
- Implement innovative approaches to enhance fundraising effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue generation, fundraising, or business development.
- Track record of leading teams and achieving revenue goals.
- Profound understanding of nonprofit sector and fundraising strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
