About the Opportunity
As a Head of Sales at DeLorean AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to revolutionize healthcare through the expansion of the Medical AI product and its disease modules – extending lives up to twenty years. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities with key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, specifically targeting medical and healthcare organizations. Your focus will be on our flagship product, Medical AI, which provides real-time risk stratification, predicts if a patient will get worse, better, or go to the hospital; and what next best actions hyperpersonalized to the patient will be required to prevent this from happening, and identifying patients that are not known to have a disease before diagnosis. Medical AI knows before the doctor knows.
Responsibilities:
· Be the driver of the healthcare disruption by Medical AI.
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets and marshal the growth of the company.
· Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers (C-suite) within healthcare organizations, including health insurance companies, hospital systems, accountable care organizations, and more.
· Identify and understand the unique needs of potential clients and effectively communicate how Medical AI can address those needs: reduce medical costs, increase revenue, improve health outcomes & enhance quality.
· Demonstrate the benefits of Medical AI to potential clients, including:
o Real Time hyperpersonalized risk stratification
o Predict what patients will get worse, better or experience a hospitalization
o Provide Next Best Actions to prevent hospitalizations and improve health outcomes
o Identify patients with unknown diseases
· Navigate complex sales cycles and work closely with the executive team to secure buy-in at the C-suite level.
· Develop and maintain a strong understanding of healthcare economics, current industry medical analytics, and AI technology to facilitate effective conversations with clients.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to tailor proposals for different clients.
· Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Requirements:
· Proven track record in enterprise sales, preferably within the healthcare industry, selling technology solutions, AI, or data-related products to the business NOT information technology.
· Demonstrated ability to close large, complex deals, including experience selling to C-suite executives.
· In-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape, medical economics, and healthcare analytics.
· Experience at a Series A high growth company through to Series C stage or exit.
· Ability to independently strategize and execute sales plans, along with a self-motivated and proactive attitude.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging in C-level conversations and building rapport with clients.
· Experience in selling to the business side of healthcare providers, insurance companies, and accountable care organizations is highly desirable.
· Adept at building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline and exceeding ambitious revenue goals.
· Strategic thinker capable of tailoring the product value proposition to different client types.
· Willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry events.
· Willingness to roll up sleeves and get what is needed done to exceed sales expectations.
