The Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for supporting the Solution Sales team in understanding the needs of clients and selling suitable product solutions for these needs. The role works closely with colleagues in Solutions Sales, Market Development, Product, Research, Conferences & Events, and School & Industry Engagement functions to deliver fast and sustainable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end responsibility for managing all aspects of sales use of Salesforce, including administration, configuration, data integrity, dashboards and reports, imports/exports, leads analysis, and user training
Support business development leadership with preparation and management of the sales forecasting process, analyzing trends and variances to provide accurate and timely projections
Create and manage HubSpot outreach campaigns and work with the Marketing team to ensure successful execution of outreach campaigns.
Collaborate with business development and IT teams on selection, development and implementation of a sales proposal tool.
Create sales proposals for account managers, when required, and record them in Salesforce.
Own and manage the systematic gathering, analysis, and reporting of market insights including school intelligence and competitor activities to enhance GMAC’s understanding of the region, school needs, and the use of GMAC’s / competitor products and services.
Support new business development, including prospecting and onboarding of new clients.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on sales planning and operational processes and execution towards sales and revenue goals. Maintain a deep understanding of GMAC solutions (or GMAC’s product portfolio).
Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in related field/or certification.
3 years’ experience in related field (i.e., B2B business development / sales support / sales enablement / account management).
Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot, and ability to track, analyze and report data.
Exceptional analytical, project planning, and time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a collaborative team setting.
Strong attention to detail, and the project management ability to allocate time and energy appropriately in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions.
Ability to creatively solve problems in a positive manner.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to prioritize objectives and related projects to achieve overarching strategic goals.
Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaborative skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC’s hybrid work environment.
