Job Summary:
The Sales Operations Analyst will manage, improve and optimize our sales processes and systems to support our fast-growing environment. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer to design, implement, and support sales processes and related systems. The analyst will also be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insight and support strategic business decisions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales leadership to provide analytical support, improving sales processes, and ensuring the accuracy and availability of sales data
- Develop and maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards, driving data driven culture and analysis of productivity and performance
- Track key sales metrics such as pipeline status, conversion rates, and sales cycle length.
- Assist in the development of accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical data and market trends.
- Play key role in supporting go-to-market strategy with robust product, property, market, and competitive analysis.
- Maintain and update company CRM system, ensuring data integrity and optimizing workflows.
- Investigate, recommend, and incorporate relevant external and internal data sources to support market initiatives.
- Design and implement sales process improvements including pricing/quoting tools, contract management systems, and RFP repositories.
- Support sales teams by performing operational tasks such as creating renewal quotes with a goal of automating and streamlining repetitive work.
- Analyze data to provide insights into the operation, effectiveness, and productivity of our sales processes.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Understanding market segmentation and ability to help develop sales strategies.
- Proven ability to administer and configure CRM systems, including custom objects, flows, validation rules, permissions, and integrations.
- Familiarity with automating business processes, report and dashboard creation, and data analysis.
- Proven ability to analyze reports and work with large data sets; knowledge of applications of AI in sales processes.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Experience using, managing, and integrating CRM and related tools to deliver robust analysis. Strong analytical experience to support data driven decision making.
- 5+ years of sales operations, account management, or product management experience.
- Minimum of BA/BS degree with a solid analytical and technical background.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- NetSuite accounting software preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
