aytm “Ask Your Target Market” is looking to hire a Director of Revenue Operations to lead our efforts in overseeing and optimizing sales operations and sales enablement functions. The ideal candidate will bring their many years of experience building high caliber revenue operations & enablement programs in B2B tech/SaaS to drive sales success and deliver revenue growth. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and hands-on leader to provide strategic oversight, analysis, and process improvements with a focus on creativity & innovation.
The Director of Revenue Operations is a key strategic role responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization by ensuring alignment between sales strategies, processes, and performance metrics.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight:
- Lead and manage the sales operations and enablement teams, providing strategic direction and support.
- Align sales system strategies with overall company goals and objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and manage sales compensation plans to motivate and reward sales team performance.
- Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts to guide business planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Sales Operations:
- Oversee the strategic direction of sales operations to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the PMO to identify and resolve process bottlenecks, enhancing sales efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies, ensuring they support the strategic goals of the sales organization.
- Develop high-level sales reports and dashboards to provide insights for senior leadership and drive strategic decision-making.
- Ensure sales policies and compliance standards are strategically managed and adhered to across the sales organization.
Sales Enablement:
- Provide strategic leadership for the sales enablement team, ensuring alignment with overall sales strategy.
- Oversee sales training programs, playbooks, and coaching initiatives that support strategic objectives.
- Ensure the sales enablement function provides the necessary resources and support for the sales team to achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with Growth Operations to ensure alignment between sales and marketing goals and to develop buyer-facing marketing collateral.
- Analyze and utilize sales performance metrics such as closed-won deals and lead conversion rates to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the enhancement of sales reps' product knowledge and skills through strategic training and development initiatives.
Analytics and Process Improvement:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, informing sales strategies.
- Design and manage sales territories to maximize market coverage and sales potential.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and generate reports to drive strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or revenue operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing and delivering sales training programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.
