Fresh Products is looking for an optimistic, quietly confident sales leader who likes a challenge and wants to build something special. This role has direct input in the development of the Fresh strategy, new product development, and market planning. You report directly to the COO, have regular interaction with the CEO/President, and will be a key member of the Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the sales function including regional sales managers, inside sales, sales support, customer service, and sales operations to help achieve the company’s double digit revenue and EBITDA growth. Comfortable coaching, mentoring, developing team members. Represents the company’s interests with customers and associates helping to shape the industry and embodying Fresh core values.
- Selling-calls on key domestic and international distributors, OEM’s, wholesalers, and yet staying connected by making an occasional end user call.
- Analysis-analyzes key performance and activity indicators to monitor and promote revenue growth communicating performance to Leadership and the sales team.
- Analysis-develops and monitors KPI’s to analyze the spending effectiveness of sale’s expense (people, travel, shows, rebates, etc) to maximize EBITDA working closely with the controller and leadership. Monitors and upholds product pricing via processes to help to improve EBITDA.
- Planning-effectively uses sales pipeline and other tools to build an annual sales forecast. Additionally helps develop, refine long term market overview showing strengths/weaknesses in both domestic and international sales channels.
- Communicating-utilizes reflecting listening to understand the voice of the customer, and communicates to the team. Encourages active listening and dialogue to discuss/resolve issues. Enjoys raising, resolving challenging issues with leadership, the team, and customers. Understands and utilizies questions effectively to learn insights. Works closely with marketing to share key user insights to develop new products and programs, and continue to refine market usage overview

Requirements
- B2B experience required and B2C is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience leading a sales team
- Must have extensive experience outside of the jan/san industry
- Proven record of sales planning and execution with year-over-year double-digit growth.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to demonstrate data driven decisions.
- Experience in utilizing digital selling tools and technology to increase sales efficiency.
- Experience in CRMs, AI, GDSN and Salsify.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
- Travel approximately 25%;
- Located in Perrysburg, OH USA
- Must follow the Fresh travel and expense policy.
