Job Summary:
The Vice President of Global Sales will be responsible for driving global sales strategies and delivering consistent revenue growth across our diverse product portfolio. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep experience in the automotive industry, particularly in active safety systems, human-machine interface (HMI) technologies, and UX-driven software solutions. The VP of Global Sales will oversee all global sales activities, build and strengthen key relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers, and ensure our company’s strategic vision is executed effectively in global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global sales strategy to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share in the active safety and UX software segments.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.
- Customer Relationships: Cultivate and expand relationships with OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers across international markets, acting as a trusted partner to support their evolving safety and UX needs.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in emerging automotive technologies such as autonomous driving, electric vehicles, and connected car ecosystems.
- Product Positioning: Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure our products meet market demands and are positioned effectively to drive customer adoption.
- Revenue Growth: Own the entire sales lifecycle from business development to negotiation and closing, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, profitability goals, and continuous growth.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and market developments in active safety, HMI, and UX software, providing strategic insights and adjusting sales strategies as needed.
- Global Sales Operations: Oversee the management and optimization of global sales operations, including CRM, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics to ensure consistent and scalable growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on active safety systems, HMI, and UX software.
- Proven Success: Track record of building and leading global sales teams, delivering sustained revenue growth, and managing complex, multi-million-dollar sales engagements with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of the automotive technology landscape, particularly in areas such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), autonomous driving, HMI, and vehicle connectivity.
- Global Perspective: Experience managing sales operations across diverse geographical regions, with a keen ability to adapt strategies to different markets and cultures.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and across functions.
