Opportunity
We're seeking an outstanding Sales Operations professional to join us as the Director of India Sales Strategy & Operations. This role will partner closely with the VP/MD Enterprise India in driving high-velocity growth within the Enterprise organization in Adobe India.
As our Sales Strategy & Operations Director, get ready to be involved in everything from defining local Go To arket strategies to the day-to-day operation of the business. You will go deep into the data to find truth and make data-backed decisions as you collaborate with the Sales and Finance teams. We're looking for a leader who is highly effective and efficient, with the ability to think strategically, yet is also keen and capable of getting into the detail.
Role Summary
Based in India, you will report to the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations (COO) for JAPAC, and collaborate with multiple teams and functions across APAC, and globally.
What you’ll do
- Align with Sales leadership on go-to-market strategy, providing data and insights, and highlighting growth opportunities
- Lead the annual and quarterly planning cycles within Enterprise, collaborating closely with APAC, ANZ, and global teams
- Lead and manage business reviews, sales forecasting, and pipeline management, including supervising compliance with required standards for maintaining SFDC data
- Lead and develop a small direct team to build and execute against deliverables for the India Enterprise business
- Provide insights into Sales performance and outline action plans to address and accelerate business growth to Sales leadership (Reporting for Key measures (Return on investment, Performance Scorecards, Management Dashboards, Ranking Reports)
- Facilitate the assignment of annual quotas to the Sales team, working closely with Global Sales Strategy & Operations and Global Sales Commissions teams
- Drive and standardise sales behaviours when it comes to forecasting, as well as strive for continual improvement in Operational Excellence within the Sales organisation.
- Act as a change agent; Adobe India is consistently testing innovative approaches within Sales as a key growth market for the region.
- Provide input and guidance to global teams around the approaches used within the India business and advocate accordingly.
What you need to succeed
- 18+ years of work experience in Sales strategy and operations roles
- Validated people leader, with excellent attraction, development and retention track record, as well as a default 'lead by example' approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with evidenced ability to influence outside of organizational reporting lines
- Unquestionable integrity, being consistently capable of both presenting and appreciating diverse perspectives, optimizing for the right business outcomes
- Ability to build trust and drive accountability & ownership at all levels, within teams other than own
- Ability to mine, manipulate and present data to senior executives, along with thoughtful recommendations for action/execution
- Ability to collaborate across teams and technology boundaries, to use data and initiative to tackle sophisticated operational problems
- Must have high attention to detail, love delivering high-quality work, and be passionate about our customers
- Must be a highly motivated individual with a hard-working approach, capable of multi-tasking in a rapidly growing organization
- Ability to be successful working in a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment.
