The Role:
We are looking for a SalesOperations Assistant to join the team. We work with some of the biggest suppliers in the country and our commitment to quality is a key factor in maintaining these partnerships. Your role will be to provide operational support to our sales team. To help you succeed, we will train, support and coach you on a range of systems and how best to communicate with your teammates and external suppliers. Like the rest of us, you will grow with the business.
If you have worked in a sales or customer service phone-based role but want to transition out of a customer facing position we want to talk to you. The role is based in our brand-new Cremorne office, a stone’s throw from Richmond station.
Key Tasks include:
- Process sales orders as needed throughout the day, including downloading, uploading, and organising files to ensure accurate sales tracking and reporting.
- Manage and submit sales call recordings to suppliers for quality and reporting purposes.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues, following established procedures to ensure timely and accurate corrections.
- Monitor and evaluate sales calls to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance
- Conduct training sessions for sales team members, focusing on energy products, regulatory compliance, and supplier systems.
- General office management, including maintaining a clean and tidy environment, managing equipment, and coordinating office supply procurement to ensure the team is well-equipped.
- Provide basic systems support by troubleshooting technical issues and escalating more complex problems to the appropriate teams.
- Enter and update data to reflect new supplier pricing, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all records.
To succeed you must be:
- Competent in Excel e.g. data entry, formatting, simple formulas
- Computer literate e.g. basic word processing, email and calendar management
- A skilled communicator (verbal and written)
- Quick to learn new things, including Beevo processes and systems
- Able to work with high levels of accuracy when inputting data
- Professional and bring a positive attitude to work
- Emotionally intelligent and able to put yourself in the shoes of others
- Highly organised and pay attention to detail
- Proactive and take initiative
- Desirable but not essential: previous experience in an operational role, energy, telecommunications, and/or phone-based sales roles
