The Role.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to get involved at every level. The role demands a passion for building—from teams to processes—enhancing collaboration and driving initiatives that support growth and operational efficiency.
The Work.
- Collaborate in providing requirements and feedback on new systems, including the Loan Operating System (LOS) and internal tools used to assess borrowers and structure loans. Assist with Sales Process improvements, collaborating closely with the Technology, Finance and Operations teams.
- Collaborate with the Ascent Data Initiative (ADI) team to continue to enhance the CRM system, define lead protocols, and establish processes and reporting standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with the ADI team to refine dashboards and optimize lead management processes.
- Establish company reporting standards, such as tracking and analyzing canceled loans and identifying reasons for cancellations.
- Oversee and update operational processes within the Sales Department to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Prepare for and organize internal credit/deal review meetings, and actively participate in company pipeline meetings.
- Review and send the weekly pipeline report to key stakeholders and capital partners.
- Coordinate with Finance on monthly commission reports and participate in Data Governance meetings.
- Manage SharePoint for the Sales Division, establishing clear protocols and organization standards.
- Attend data-focused meetings with external data and market information sources to leverage industry insights.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects with Executive Team members, including initiatives such as custom processes for loan groups, setting up global structure/pricing for key relationships and modifications to internal guidance documents.
Your Skills And Experience.
- Proven success and extensive experience within commercial/construction lending (SFR/MFR) roles, or equivalent.
- Bank and/or Private Money lending experience preferred.
- Strategic yet tactical mindset with a readiness to tackle challenges directly.
- Proactive in building solutions that enhance productivity and organizational performance.
- Strong team leadership, influencing, analytical and communications skills required.
- Excellent written, presentation & communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to build partnerships and alliances internally and with external partners at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritizing as needed in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
The Pay.
Total compensation will be in the range of $200,000 - $250,000 (commensurate with experience)
The Location.
This is an on-site position based in Ascent"s Encino corporate headquarters.
