- Sales Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute day-to-day, week-to-week, and long-term sales strategies.
- Lead the entire sales function, including hiring, training, and resourcing the sales staff.
- Oversee customer account strategies to maximize business growth and retention.
- Team Management:
- Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- Identify and onboard top talent who can deliver immediate and sustained success.
- Set up and oversee a call center operation for inside account management.
- Collaboration and Development:
- Partner with the Marketing team to align strategies and drive commercial sales.
- Identify transformative opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
- Lead initiatives to expand geographic distribution and close sales across territories.
- Business Development:
- Focus on long-term retention through effective business development strategies.
- Attend and manage trade shows, representing the company to grow networks and opportunities.
- Provide evidence of transformative work to drive results in the Charlotte Market.
- Accountability and Metrics:
- Communicate budgets, account progress, and team achievements to senior leadership.
- Manage resources effectively to ensure the team meets and exceeds goals.
- Focus on impactful leadership to drive real outcomes.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in progressive sales, preferable in residential construction
- Proven success in sales leadership with a track record of growing teams and revenue.
- Strong business development experience, including inside account management.
- Ability to influence and inspire others with exceptional communication skills.
- Self-driven, innovative, and focused on results.
- Experience managing marketing alignment and taking ownership of sales strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to transform underperforming sales processes into success stories.
Compensation And Benefits
- $150,000 base with the potential to double in commission (up to $300,000 total company)
