Revenue Operations Analyst (3 months contract)
The Wall Street Journal Barron's Group (WSJ|BG) is the world's premier publisher of online business and financial news. The Revenue Operations Analyst plays a key role under the Inventory Strategy Manager within the Revenue Operations team by assisting with the entire digital booking process. You are responsible for all ad hoc audience segmentation, audience data management, inventory management, systems management, ad hoc reporting, digital & miscellaneous billing, and revenue retention.
You will collaborate with several cross functional teams across Dow Jones to support and optimize the business's 1P audiences & billing procedures; this includes Sales, Planning, Ad Operations, The Trust, Associate Planning, Finance, Data Governance and Commercial Technology. You will report to the Executive Director, Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain and update all audience data documentation, including collaboration with the Product Marketing team on internal and external marketing materials regarding our audience strategy and offerings in Google Slides, Adobe PDF, and Google Docs.
- Design segments based on 1P data and ad-hoc requests from the Sales & Planning teams to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Collaborate with multiple areas of the company including sales, planning, technology, finance and project management teams.
- Maintain monthly recurring reporting, including but not limited to: Account Based Market Performance Reporting, Segment Viability Reporting, and Dow Jones Leadership reporting.
- Maintain daily Revenue Retention Reporting.
- Maintain and optimize the monthly Digital & Miscellaneous Billing procedures, including requesting invoices and collaborating with the Global Finance Team, as needed.
- Provide support in other Revenue Operations areas, as needed.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in digital advertising industry, digital systems and advertising technologies
- Strong analytical, strategic and creative problem solving skills preferred; Excel experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
- Strong communication skills preferred; including but not limited to: ability to translate complex processes and internal requirements into clear, executable tasks for peers, sales and clients
- Strong cross-collaboration skills required; including, but not limited to: capacity to work with internal partners (sales, support and finance teams) to improve processes and develop best practices
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment required
- BA/BS College degree required.
