We’re seeking a hands-on Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead the next growth phase of a rapidly scaling IoT SaaS company based in Germany. The company provides innovative energy management solutions that enable commercial and industrial clients to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions through intelligent data and automation.

This role offers full commercial responsibility in a private equity–backed tech scale-up at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and real-world impact.

Location: Munich/hybrid

Your Role

Lead, scale and structure the sales team to achieve ambitious and measurable growth targets
Translate company-level goals into clear sales strategies, team structures, hiring plans, and quotas through reverse forecasting
Build a strong, qualified pipeline and implement consistent, transparent forecasting and reporting structures
Establish and drive a scalable sales methodology (e.g. MEDDIC, P.U.B.) to improve pipeline quality and win rates
Monitor and present key SaaS KPIs (CAC, ACV, win rate, sales velocity) to internal and external stakeholders, including investors
Coach, develop and grow the sales team – and attract top-performing talent as the business scales
Collaborate closely with the CEO and broader C-level team to define and execute the company’s commercial roadmap

What You Bring

Track record in building and scaling high-performing B2B SaaS sales organizations in high-growth environments
Strong operational focus and “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality
Entrepreneurial thinking and a strong sense of ownership
Experience designing and implementing lean, scalable sales processes and KPI systems
Confident in communicating with investors and PE stakeholders, including reporting and strategic input
Experience in PropTech, Energy or Industrial IoT sectors is a strong plus
Excellent knowledge of SaaS sales metrics and forecasting logic
Fluent in English and German
