The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Deal Desk Pricing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Serving as a trusted adviser and advocate for the Sales team on complex and strategic deals; advising deal structure, alternatives, possible ramifications, or value propositioning to help convert the lead to deal closure
Ensuring the structure of deals adhere to corporate policies, processes, programs and systems that affect revenue transactions
Providing deal guidance and creative solutions by fully understanding various licensing models and pricing to support the sales organization while maintaining internal pricing standards
Reviewing customer contractual documents, including procurement terms and conditions, and spot contractual red flags and revenue recognition exposures

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

High school diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and six (6) combined years experience in accounting, finance, and/or actuarial

Two (2) years experience working with advanced MS Excel, including pivot tables, look-up and logic formulas

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Five (5) years of experience with a technology company selling solutions and services in a recurring revenue business model
Excellent analytical, mathematical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills; ability to apply a quantitative approach to measuring customer experience, product usage, and customer satisfaction to lead improved performance
Familiarity with the opportunity-to-cash cycle, including operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition, legal contracts, etc.
Ability to organize and distill complex information into easily consumable reports, statements and communications that provide insights, enabling quick decision making
Customer service focused, including the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
Strong quantitative skills and proficient in Saleforce.com
You will need to be passionate, resilient, dedicated and be adept in understanding complex problems while proving explanations and creating solutions which are financially and logically sound and clearly communicated.

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

Relocation: may be authorized

Location: Any HIS Office or Remote USA
