General Summary

The Analyst, Sales operations is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy of bookings as per the written contracts and ensure this data feeds through to become accurate commissions payment for the sales team. This position is responsible for ensuring timely turnaround of deliverables and will assist the Finance team on queries related to bookings. The resource will also assist the CPG team with the day-to-day tasks of tracking requests and with ongoing process and systems improvement opportunities.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Review Contract Records to ensure accuracy in Advarra’s systems
Research, review, and process new business contracts, ensuring all compliance with company policies and criteria
Maintain sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for sales and executive leadership
Prepare and perform data analysis in Salesforce.com production and sandbox environments, manipulating large sets of data
Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis related to bookings and pipeline trends, key metrics and KPIs, and support of ad hoc strategic analysis
Ensure timely review of and response to all requests and escalate concerns appropriately
Review Commissions payouts and ensure accuracy with the booking numbers
Work cross-functionally throughout Advarra departments to ensure obligations are communicated and managed
Ensure files, draft documents, and final documents are properly stored in electronic storage systems (i.e. Sharepoint, Salesforce, or other systems)
Participate in team meetings and aid in development or modification of tools and procedures
Serve as a backup to members of the CPG team
Raise ongoing process improvement opportunities
Other projects and duties as assigned

Job Requirement

Education

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Life Sciences, Business, or similar area of expertise

Experience

1-2 years general office experience
1-2 years of experience in a contracts/agreements processing function

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Computer skills, including proficiency using MS Office, Excel, Word and Google Drive
Experience using Salesforce is a plus
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external clients with a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work independently; planning, organizing, scheduling and completing work within deadlines
Must be detail-oriented and possess strong written, oral and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task, establishing and managing conflicting demands and priorities
Able to work in team environment
Ability to adapt to changes in office technology, equipment and/or processes
Demonstrated consistency and dependability in quantity and quality of work

Physical and Mental Requirements

Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
This position requires regular oral/written interaction with clients, team members and management
Infrequent traveling may be required within the United States
