Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee and direct the financial operations of the company, ensuring stability, efficiency, and growth. This role will involve strategic financial planning, budgeting, and optimizing financial performance while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The CFO will play a key role in driving profitability and supporting the company’s mission of delivering high-quality vitamins and supplements.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth goals.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Financial Operations & Compliance:

Manage accounting, tax, and financial reporting functions.
Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and other relevant industry regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities.

Cost Optimization & Profitability:

Monitor production costs, raw material expenses, and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and margins.
Oversee pricing strategies and product profitability analysis.

Cash Flow & Capital Management:

Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
Oversee financing strategies, including credit lines and debt management.
Optimize inventory financing and supplier payment terms.

Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead and develop the finance team, promoting accuracy and accountability.
Collaborate with the production, sales, and operations teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
Present financial updates and strategic recommendations to the CEO and leadership team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing or consumer goods.
Knowledge of FDA and GMP compliance in the supplements industry is a plus.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
Experience with ERP systems and financial software.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in the vitamins, supplements, or health products sector is a plus.
Familiarity with supply chain financing and cost optimization strategies.
Ability to drive financial efficiency in a mid-sized manufacturing environment.
The candidate must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
