This position is responsible for working in the Sales Operations department reporting directly to the Director, Sales Operations.

Manage generic pharmaceutical pricing through financial analysis to grow revenue and margins
Develop and execute pricing strategies to maintain current business and expand new business
Manage item level margins across all customers
Support new agreement deal modeling process by reviewing current financials and forecasting potential go-forward financial scenarios across all products
Purpose, present and engage in value added strategic initiatives and process improvements aimed at increasing the company's bottom line
Build and maintain strong customer relationships resulting in customer retention and stability/increase of sales
Accurately summarize all opportunities, analysis, and strategy in a clear and concise manner that leads to thoughtful discussions and timely decisions
Identify opportunities to optimize profitability through price strategy
Shape strategic plans with internal stakeholders, including sales, purchasing, marketing, finance, and IT
Persuasively communicate all findings and recommendations to all levels of management through clear presentations
Analyze and proactively monitor the results of pricing decisions and revise or negotiate service contracts when necessary
Initiate and carry out special pricing projects of varying nature and complexity with limited supervision by clarifying objectives and assumptions or making appropriate judgements when necessary
Participate in process improvement initiatives or projects related to business unit objectives
Demonstrate knowledge and experience with pricing processes, systems, and controls
Work effectively across functions to design and implement new or enhance current processes, systems, and tools
Demonstrate knowledge of customer economics, financial modeling techniques, and related pricing strategies
Communicate effectively across the organization to maximize profit opportunities and provide key pricing insights
Develop, communicate, and monitor price recommendations and risk mitigation for deals and products by performing pricing analysis or leveraging and synthesizing advanced analytics of internal and external intelligence
Develop, implement, and maintain pricing programs designed to enhance margin
Demonstrate ability and enthusiasm in data analysis and financial modeling, applying analytics, and data visuals to extract insights and effectively draw applicable recommendations
Engage all levels of leadership as a pricing subject matter expert as well as an influencer towards organizational needs and interests
Be comfortable and confident as a point of contact providing marketing pricing intelligence, pricing analytics, and strategic pricing recommendations
Show ability to understand product-category, business models, financial goals, and pricing expectations
Effectively communicate across the organization regarding profitability improvement opportunities and key pricing insights
Develop new strategies and effectively communicates to business partners (sales, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, etc.)
Demonstrate ability to grasp pricing theory, economic conditions, and related pricing processes, systems, and controls
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to display quantitative information in tables, charts, powerpoint presentations and other forms of visual enhancements to the data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to propose actions, identify and illustrate opportunities, make recommendations and articulate financial impact of decisions to personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise

Experience in business management, portfolio management, and project management
Pharmaceutical experience and experience being part of , or supporting a sales team strongly preferred
