Role summary

This role is responsible for supporting the wider team in delivering operational excellence. You will be given specific tasks to support Sales Operations. The role will contribute to a range of tasks to ensure requirements and deadlines are met.

Although mostly hybrid there will be a requirement to attend the office in Guildford twice a week so ideally local to the area

What you’ll be doing

Provide support around sales planning and forecasting.
Support the lead handling, opportunity qualification and bid management process.
Understand and assist delivery of best practice guidance and knowledge to on-board and train the sales team about sales processes and supporting technology.
Reduce sales burden and frustration through the sales process.
Is able to carry out commission administrative tasks under supervision, with direction and oversight.
Offer support to the sales team to manage accurate data in Salesforce.com and other corporate sales systems.
Ensure the availability of standard pipeline, data quality and sales management reports.
Managing business development costs through appropriate regular (target of weekly) checks.
Encourage and support all sales people to attend regular training sessions.

What we’re looking for

Excellent communication skills - Ability to communicate competently with immediate team and internal stakeholders
A good working knowledge of Salesforce – Running reports, dashboards
A keen eye for detail – analysing data and data quality
A good working knowledge of Excel – pivot tables etc
