Salon Operations Manager at Belle Nails and Spa Inc. in Woodbury, NJ

Responsible for the creation and implementation of deliverables required to support clients’ management systems. Actively participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of the necessary documentation and deliverables and assist in various supporting activities including training, coaching, assessments and reviews.

Duties:

- Collaborate with Front Desk and Estheticians to achieve the ideal customer experience; Find ways to increase quality of customer service, provide general support to customers; Enhance the Belle Spa brand through guest experiences, promoting the Belle Spa loyalty and guest service programs.

- Refine and enforce an inventory system, and maintain inventory for a consistent online storefront; utilize inventory systems to place orders with multiple vendors; manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time; manage contract and price negotiations with vendors and office lease.

- Ensure financial objectives are met by preparing annual budget, planning the expenditures, analyzing variances and carrying out necessary corrections that may arise; review/interpret financial and operational reporting, including visit and audit results.

- Recruit staff and provide orientation and training to new employees; evaluate and manage staff performance.

- Protect company assets and minimize loss according to store standards and operating procedures, including workplace safety, inventory control and loss prevention.

- Work with salon owner to implement education and training in each aspect of the salon; ensure adherence to all Belle Spa policies, procedures and standards.

- Utilize social media for shop branding as well as to help estheticians build their books.

- Supervise one (1) store manager assistant and two (2) receptionists.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management or related.

- Two (2) years of experience with business process management and risk management.

10% domestic travel required.
