Are you an experienced automotive finance leader looking for your next challenge?

Whittaker Auto Group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with automotive dealership experience to lead the financial strategy of our growing dealership group. This role is ideal for a finance professional who understands new and used vehicle sales, F&I, service, and parts operations and can optimize dealership profitability while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

✅ Oversee dealership accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

✅ Manage relationships with floor plan providers (Ford Motor Credit, KeyBank, etc.) and optimize working capital.

✅ Lead dealership DMS implementation (Automate, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) and financial reporting.

✅ Work closely with department heads to enhance sales, service, F&I, and parts performance.

✅ Implement AI-driven financial tools and improve internal processes.

What You Need:

✔ Automotive dealership experience (required) – at least 5 years in a CFO, Controller, or similar role.

✔ Strong knowledge of dealership financials, reinsurance, floor planning, and compliance.

✔ Expertise in DMS systems (Automate, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA or MBA preferred).

✔ Leadership experience with a track record of optimizing financial performance.
