Chief Revenue Officer BIOS Lighting, parent company of SKYVIEW™

Location: Carlsbad, CA (flex HQ on site schedule)

Salary range: $150,000 - $250,000 OTE

You’ll have an opportunity to expand our SKYVIEW™ sales team and will be supported by a collaborative and knowledgeable team of lighting, engineering and business experts, some of which come from NASA where they developed some of the first LED lighting solutions for space stations.

Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, your primary responsibility as the Chief Revenue Officer is to drive SKYVIEW™ revenue on both B2B and DTC channels.

You will work closely with the CEO and VP of Marketing in a startup growth marketing role that works across growth programs end-to-end, from digital advertising, content development, lifecycle, and email.

BIOS is seeking a dynamic CRO, a sales leader with wellness industry experience and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities

Meet and or exceed company’s quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Oversee and optimize all revenue-generating activities within BIOS Lighting, including sales, pricing, and customer support with the goal of maximizing revenue and driving business growth through effective strategies and operations.
Collaborate across the company to enhance and create new B2B customer acquisition and conversion opportunities.
Liaison with marketing to ensure a successful go-to-market strategy
Use performance data and metrics to drive content strategy and prioritization to guide content that is relevant, on-trend and will generate high engagement.
Direct the creation of content needed for sales enablement and repeat purchases.
Analyze digital marketing performance and communicate internally and externally about critical metrics and opportunities for improvement.
Team builder, recruitment, and positive leadership
Sales commission management
Prepare and present at board meetings.
Hire, train, retrain, and manage team performance.
Review the forecast and manage revenue that’s at risk.
Execute the go-to-market strategy for products and pricing.
Join the most strategic deal calls to influence deal structure.
Focus on scaling operations and bring in the right technology tools to help.
Create focus and collaboration with meetings across the C-suite and direct reports.
Be entrepreneurial, flexible, and roll up your sleeves – no task is too small.

Minimun Requirements

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in relevant fields (B2B wellness space)
5+ years leading a successful sales team
Demonstrated sales leadership success at a current or prior company
Start-up sales experience
Fluency in sales automation systems (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.) and analytics (Google Analytics)
Creative campaign ideas and thinking, always looking for ways to create an edge
Bonus for experience working with organic social and influencer sales programs
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Must be self-motivated, exceptionally organized, able to manage several projects simultaneously, and prioritize effectively
High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
Up to 30% travel as needed
