AI Revenue Operations Manager

A bit of background on Breathe HR

At Breathe, we believe AI should make work clearer, faster and more useful. We’re building practical ways to connect AI-enabled tracking, automation and business systems so teams can see what is happening, understand what matters and act at the right time.

This role sits at the heart of that work. You’ll help connect systems such as Claude, HubSpot, Planhat and Impartner across the customer lifecycle, creating better visibility and more joined-up ways of working across Customer Success, Partnerships, Support, Marketing, Product, Sales and Finance.

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. Breathe is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.

Our Values: What We Live By

Start With People - We remember our work affects real people, so we take the time to listen, understand and act with care.

Own It, Together - We take responsibility for our part, support each other through the messy bits, and focus on fixing things rather than finding blame.

Clear Is Kind - We speak honestly and with care. We don’t avoid difficult conversations, and we make sure people have the clarity they need to move forward.

Why This Role Is SO Important:

We’re looking for an AI Operations Manager to turn AI, automation and connected systems into better ways of working across the business.

You’ll take fragmented processes and make them simple, reliable and scalable. You’ll connect data and workflows across the customer lifecycle, improve the quality of operational insight and help teams focus on the right customer and partner priorities.

Your work will help the business protect customer value end to end, from onboarding and adoption through to retention, renewal and expansion. You’ll also support forecasting, performance reviews and planning with accurate data and clear commentary.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, improving the way people use them and turning raw data into focused action. You’ll work with senior leaders and operational teams, influencing without formal authority and building capability that people can rely on every day.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Let’s be clear from the start: this isn’t a role where you simply produce reports or configure systems in isolation. You’ll connect the dots between technology, data, process and people, making sure the business has the insight and operating rhythm it needs to retain and grow customer value.

Owning AI Operations: Owning and improving AI-enabled workflows, tracking and automation across Claude, HubSpot and the wider systems stack.

Managing Business Systems: Configuring, troubleshooting and optimising platforms such as Planhat, Impartner, HubSpot, Power BI and similar tools so they are intuitive, well governed and consistently used.

Improving Data Quality: Maintaining clear ownership, documentation and data standards across connected platforms and creating a trusted single source of truth.

Building Customer Health Scoring: Bringing together product usage, engagement, support interactions and commercial milestones to create useful customer health scores and signals.

Creating Proactive Alerts: Implementing alerts for churn risk, low usage and expansion opportunities so teams can intervene with the right context at the right time.

Connecting the Customer Lifecycle: Creating joined-up visibility across onboarding, adoption, retention, renewal and expansion.

Building Reporting and Insight: Creating dashboards, insight packs and centralised reporting that leaders and teams can rely on.

Supporting Forecasting and Planning: Supporting weekly forecasting, monthly performance reviews and quarterly planning with accurate data and clear commentary.

Turning Data Into Action: Distinguishing leading and lagging indicators, surfacing patterns and translating raw data into clear, prioritised actions.

Improving Cross-Functional Processes: Mapping, refining and documenting end-to-end processes across Customer Success, Partnerships, Support, Marketing and Sales.

Creating Playbooks: Developing workflows, playbooks and process guides that help teams execute consistently and reduce duplicated administration.

Driving Operating Leverage: Identifying opportunities to remove manual work, improve efficiency and enable growth without equivalent headcount growth.

Supporting Better Decisions: Partnering with senior leaders to turn data into focused priorities for investment, capacity, headcount and roadmap decisions.

Applying AI Thoughtfully: Exploring and applying appropriate AI tools to customer, commercial and operational workflows, with appropriate governance and human oversight.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Six Months

Improved forecast accuracy across customer and partner revenue streams.

️Reduced manual reporting and administration time across leadership and frontline teams.

️Earlier identification of churn risk, giving teams more opportunity to protect gross retention.

Improved expansion conversion through clearer opportunity signals and prioritisation.

A trusted single source of truth for ARR, pipeline, capacity and performance.

️Improved operating leverage through better systems, processes and automation.

Stronger confidence across teams in the quality, consistency and usefulness of operational data.

Key Competencies & Behaviours

You’re systems-minded: You enjoy understanding how platforms, workflows and data connect, and you can identify where a process can be made simpler or more reliable.

You’re analytical and curious: You investigate trends, ask better questions and look for the story behind the numbers rather than only producing reports.

You’re commercially aware: You understand customer lifecycle metrics including retention, expansion, churn, customer health and product usage, and can connect them to business outcomes.

You’re hands-on: You’re comfortable configuring, troubleshooting and improving systems yourself rather than relying entirely on external support.

You make complexity clear: You can explain systems, data and recommended actions clearly to operational teams, senior leaders and non-technical audiences.

You improve how people work: You can map processes, identify friction and create practical workflows, playbooks and guidance that teams will actually use.

You influence without authority: You build trust across functions and bring people with you when introducing new processes, systems or ways of working.

You’re proactive: You spot opportunities, take ownership and turn unclear problems into structured plans and practical next steps.

You’re thoughtful about AI: You understand where AI can create value and where human judgement, context and oversight still matter.

You’re collaborative: You enjoy working with Customer Success, Partnerships, Support, Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance and senior leadership to solve shared problems.

It would help if you have:

Experience in AI operations, automation, business systems, Revenue Operations or a similar systems-focused role in SaaS.
Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting and optimising platforms such as HubSpot, Planhat, Impartner, Power BI or similar tools.
Experience building reporting, dashboards, health scoring, alerts or operational insight.
Experience improving processes across multiple functions and influencing without formal authority.
A strong understanding of customer lifecycle and commercial performance metrics.
