Aim Solutions, our clinical diagnostic division, specializes in the manufacture of small, innovative benchtop automation for optimizing pre- and post-analytical workflows in pathology laboratories, and has installations worldwide. Customer excellence is at the very heart of what we do, and we believe that a Sales Operations Manager is crucial to driving sales force productivity and world class customer care. Skills and experience required include planning, reporting, sales process optimization, sales technology optimization and sales program implementation. Additionally, the Sales Operations Manager is the bridge spanning sales and operations to ensure customer satisfaction from initial contact (lead generation) to long term partnership. Your proactivity and “make things happen” approach will be integral to the long-term health and growth of the sales organization and company as a whole. You will be a key partner to senior management to deploy new approaches for solving business challenges and building a better workplace for a high performing sales team.

What you’ll do:

Streamline and proactively identify and implement improvements in current workflows and processes that will improve efficiency.
Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
Work with the Sales Leadership Team and colleagues to enable accurate business planning and territory management, pipeline forecasting, and methodology adoption to track sales results with periodic metrics/KPI reporting and insights.
Be an integral participant for the Salesforce.com implementation, including overseeing customization/integrations, data sanitization, dashboard creation and pipeline reporting. Collate key business analytics to support and guide local field teams.
Assist the sales team with the generation of RFP responses, tender documentation and customer quotations and proposals.
Work closely with operations to communicate correctly and promptly with customers including quotes, confirmations, and delivery notices.
Represent the commercial team in production planning meetings, presenting an accurate sales forecast to optimize production planning.
Provide oversight and leadership to the Customer Care and Logistics Team members.
Support and coordinate the execution of internal communications as well as external digital communications to our customers.
Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, policies, and relevant sales training materials and assist with on boarding new sales talent.
Produce and review actionable and accurate sales reporting and sales tools for reps, managers, and sales leaders.
Partner with sales management and marketing to monitor and optimize the funnel conversion and pilot program processes.
Advise and support Sales and Finance on Pricing and Deal Management to adhere to internal controls.
Facilitate the process, in conjunction with finance and the sales team for authorizing new partners, OEMs and distributors.
Partner with cross-functional groups on the optimization of ERP functionality, representing customer care in the implementation of new ERP systems and processes.
Coordinate winning strategy with the sales team, technical application and product manager.

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Life Scientific discipline highly regarded.
Minimum 5 years proven sales operation management experience.
Experience working in a pathology laboratory related industry desirable.
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Experience with ERP (Oracle Cloud or MS Navision preferred).
Experience with QMS (ISO13485 or ISO9001 preferred).
