We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and diligent individual to join our Sales team as a Director of Sales (DOS). Reporting to our Chief Sales Officer, the DOS is responsible for leadership with the Account Executive Sales team to prioritize tasks with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals. The DOS works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership exceeding consultative solution sales goals and a passion for energy efficiency and the green economy.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and drive key sales strategies and initiatives, tactics and sales plans focused on annual sales targets
Lead strategic planning including; forecasting, quota setting, and account planning
Execute go-to-market strategies to achieve the sales plan
Provide leadership, motivation, and development to the Sales Account Executive team
Maximize growth opportunities by identifying trends and finding partners & alliances
Manage the full sales cycle from the top of the funnel through the closure of new accounts and expansion (this is a land and expand model)
Maximize the use of HubSpot and other productivity tools to manage your pipeline and provide enhanced reporting
Savvy negotiator, communicator, and ability to assist in getting deals done
Hire, onboard, supervise, and develop Account Executives (AEs)
Establish KPIs to monitor the success of the team, adherence to process and assure sales productivity

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-10 years in a Sales Leadership role with a track record of success as well as experience as an account executive
Executive-level presentation and leadership skills supported by professional experience with high–profile sales achievement
Experience selling IoT, energy efficiency solutions to Facilities/Sustainability Managers or some related industry experience
Experience managing sales talent in SaaS or similar sectors ( EEaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
Relevant education background (e.g. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or demonstrated success in relevant disciplines)
