Objective

This position is responsible for developing and recommending strategies in addition to support of the sales team. It is their duty to gather and analyze data to determine the strengths and weaknesses of existing procedures, identify areas needing improvement, develop solutions against problem areas, and suggest new policies that support the company's vision and mission.

Essential Responsibilities

Works directly with the Director of Sales Analytics and Administration, as well as lead teams and mentor junior analysts, in the joint effort to reach sales targets and optimal business performance.
Evaluates new data sets requested by business stakeholders, develop the processes to load and prepare the data for use, and ensure business objectives are met through analytics.
Manages and ensures data and item accuracy across wholesaler and internal reporting systems.
Acts as a subject matter expert for the company on sales reporting using VIP, GPA Analytics, Nielsen, and Orchestrated Beer.
Facilitates training for sales team on existing and new sales tools, overall beer processes, and running FNG training sessions.
Leads the development & execution of commercial analytics in areas such as Distribution, Price Promotion, Marketing Effectiveness and Sales Analytics across different channels, chains & products.
Analyzes and reports on sales performance with the intent to share actionable insights and leading indicators for success
Leads a proactive review of factual data to make recommendations to sales management for areas of advancement and opportunity.
Reviews Annual Business Plans from individual reps for completion or other areas of concern.
Collaborates within cross-functional teams to develop solutions

Additional Responsibilities

Assists and coordinates any, and all projects involving sales rep, distributor, and retail account information.
Assists with production in terms of inventory, order recommendation, and item allocations.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of sales, data, and the 3-tier system
Knowledge of queries and accessing data.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-25 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
