Canon EMEA have a role to lead and manage the Sales Operations Team to drive the commercial operations of ITCG. (Imaging Technologies Consumer Group)

This includes the facilitation of various pricing lists and contractual rebate setup process, . The Sales operations manager is also responsible for ensuring the right contractual terms & conditions for every business partner and product group, is SOX compliant. You will also be the process owner of commercial tools such as profitability tools and SPS/Ecommerce pricing to ensure commercial KPIs are met. Review or support as well as develop initiatives to ensure the ITCG sales processes runs efficiently to enable sales better, and that related SOX processes are formally documented and compliant with agreed standards.

Leadership and line management of the Sales Operations team, manage, coach, develop, and motivate a highly efficient and effective team.
Close communication and collaboration with national sales organisations (NSO), Product Sales and Business Development, Product Management, Channel/Ecommerce and Finance to optimise ITCG sales operations.
Responsible for End-to-End pricing and product setup, and maintenance
Ensure order management support for system setup related topics
Exchange rate setup, communication and maintenance for ITCG
Facilitate processes to support the enablement of ITCG , and drive on-time decision making in each process
Support each budget cycle process ensuring support for product and price setup, , , and Product Master Data etc.).
Ensure the close communication of key decisions to NSOs on a key sales initiatives
Contracts, Governance and Compliance management
- Ensure the administration and documentation of all channel partner contractual investments/T&C (SA/rebates) and correct setup in relevant systems
- Ensure that channel partner contracts are aligned with the relevant commercial models
- Oversees correct contract management – data base and template management, access right co-ordination, contract governance and communication with relevant stakeholder (e.g. central legal & NSOs)
Manage the setting, maintenance and review for channel partner agreements including setting of contractual rebates
Facilitate partner payment process to ensure NSOs can make payments
Ensure relevant stakeholder have enough information to make investment decisions by providing information and simulations
Drive sales governance and brand protection processes
- Define, organize and facilitate regular cross-functional committee meetings to ensure timely decision-making on Sales Governance and related matters.
- Manage agenda, decision-making and minutes, ensure follow-up of actions.
- Maintain clear log of key decisions, and approved exceptions to sales policies.
- Ensure governance processes are reviewed together with legal partner to ensure compliance
- Sales Governance Framework and Risk Management (SOX)
- Develop and maintain an overview of the key policies and processes that require governance.
- Identify the key control points and associated business risks of non-compliance.
- Define agreed set of consequence management and mitigation actions and develop tools for effective risk management.
- Manage internet site takedown process together with Legal team
- Selective Distribution Agreement (SDA) overview and Governance

Maintain, enforce framework for ensuring business setups are in line with the approved commercial model

Administer the SDAs in a consistent manner across Europe and ensure correct system setup/flag management
- Responsible for a clear overview of the products and channel partners in scope and ensures maintenance on a regular basis
Business ownership of technical support for Canon’s investment management system (sales budgeting, Investments)
- Ensure that the system and related processes are fit for purpose and operational.
- Manage the relationship with third-party service providers (Contracts, SLA management, FAM team interface). Ensure effective management of system changes and improvements through the Service Request / Change Request process, including readiness for OBIEE implementation and R12.
- Evangelize and support adoption of the Canon’s investment management system throughout ITCG in close collaboration with Business Intelligence department.
- Provide Consultancy, Training and Support throughout budget timing
Support Demantra re-launch project through issue analysis and resolution and initiatives to improve system capability Process owner of commercial tools including E.com pricing tools to ensure commercial KPIs are met
Ensure the operational sales processes is under constant review, and improvements are suggested and implemented
Ensure the timely analysis and correction of issues occurring in the end-to-end sales process
Ensure that the impact of issues on business processes is identified and communicated to relevant business stakeholders in a timely and effective manner and ensure that actions are taken to prevent recurrence of issues.
Overall consultancy, Training and Support for the ITCG sales organisation
Ensure the availability of consultancy, training and support regarding sales operations, governance and Canon’s Investment management systems.
Ensure the availability of project support when required

What we ask

Several years’ experience in a relevant role in an international organisation, including business ownership of IT solutions and legal, and experience of change management.
