ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Sales Operations Coordinator, you’ll work closely with Cartwheel’s Head of School Sales to ensure we have the tools, reporting and operating structure necessary to grow our presence in dozens of new school districts across multiple states and scale our sales team as we hit ambitious revenue goals.

Location: Remote with quarterly in-person team retreats and co-locating as needed in Boston, Chicago, or NYC, especially as we get to know each other.

Start date: September 2023

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Help develop and improve on key sales collateral that will support the school sales process (i.e. proposal templates, price books, quote generations, contracting with school districts)
Codify foundational processes that will support day-to-day operations on the School Sales team
Manage, build and iterate on our new CRM, Salesforce
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales reports to the School Sales leadership team and to individual sales contributors
Innovate on existing sales reports with an aim towards uncovering new insights that can help us sell more effectively
Work closely with the Head of Sales and Director of Sales to ensure inbound leads are assigned to the correct sales reps by district/school geography and size
Project manage various vendor relationships to ensure they deliver the best information and services to our sales team
Promote a collaborative, team-oriented culture within our School Sales team and the broader Cartwheel organization
Support the Head of School Sales in planning for future growth within the Sales Operations function

WHO YOU ARE

Must have…

Willingness to develop new skills quickly – specifically around learning the ins and outs of Salesforce. While prior CRM experience is crucial, we don’t expect you to be an expert in Salesforce when you arrive. You’ll become one of our Salesforce experts as you grow and learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite (especially Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets and Slides)
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. We will be building processes and infrastructure together and an ability to clearly communicate the rollout of a new initiative to our growing School Sales team will be vital
Strong process orientation and organization skills to move multiple projects from start to completion
Experience working with a CRM in a previous sales operations role
Demonstrated ability to compile and leverage data trends to improve sales team outcomes
Comfort with adapting quickly in a fast-moving/growing environment
Passion working with schools on mental health issues
A competitive spirit – we love to win on the school sales team and will celebrate our wins together and learn and improve from our losses!

Extra credit…

Proficiency working in Salesforce
Experience working in schools (as a teacher, administrator, counselor, social worker or other support staff member)
Experience writing and/or project managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
