From Manhattan to Montana, this reality is compounded by issues of access, both geographic and financial. The mental health landscape is systemically broken, and our young people are suffering as a result.

Charlie Health has set out on a mission to reimagine how high acuity care is delivered to young people and families in crisis. Our initial offering is a virtual intensive outpatient program, which places peers with similar mental health experiences and goals into customized virtual groups. Our team of masters-level clinicians lead groups multiple times per week to deliver a higher level of care.

Responsibilities

Successful performance in this role requires a self-motivated analytical individual with attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple initiatives
Oversee the production and analysis of monthly key performance indicators related to revenue cycle, including AR aging, DSO, cash waterfall, reserves, collection metrics, and claims reconciliation
Prepare ROI analyses related to revenue cycle initiatives, such as new technology solutions, contracting management systems, etc.
Continually assess the efficiency of revenue cycle workflows, practices, processes, procedures and/or systems, including the creation and delivery of process assessments to include process mapping
Serve as the subject matter expert for the various RCM platforms and technology solutions used by the department to bill claims, verify benefits, and ensure revenue integrity
Develop and execute strategic plans for complex process improvement projects across the department. Serves as the department project manager leading working groups with team members, users, analysts, clinicians, and Charlie Health leadership
Develops and produces month-end and ad-hoc reports for internal and external use
Strong attention to detail is needed in order to ensure the accuracy of the data being reported

Qualifications

5 years' experience required; bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Public Accounting or Investment Banking experience a plus
Health care delivery or health insurance employment experience or an equivalent preferred
Microsoft Office proficiency
Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual proficiency in English
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
Experience advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel
