Vice President of Sales, AI Patient Engagement – West Coast

Just off the back of an $8 million Series A, our client is looking for a dedicated, experienced and ambitious VP of sales to join their organization to help them expand their footprint. They would like to hire a VP for the West Coast of the US and they each will be in charge of this territory, building their book of business. The responsibilities of the VP of Sales include running & managing the daily sales activities, designing effective sales strategies, writing sales reports and marketing the suite of AI healthcare services to health systems, ACOs, insurers and nephrology/cardiac groups.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. A top-notch candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare market, competition and have excellent customer service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

Managing all sales operations and activities on the Coast (Seattle to San Diego and the regions surrounding)
VP of Sales will drive all sales targeting, prospecting, lead generation, appointment setting and sales in the region.
Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
Creating and managing sales budgets.
Eventually recruiting and hiring sales support staff and developing training programs.
Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
Reviewing customer activity, anticipating needs, cross-selling and improving customer satisfaction.
Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
Working with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Master's degree in a business-related field may be advantageous.
Minimum of 4-6 years experience in a sales leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competition, and healthcare market (i.e. fee for service vs value based care).
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, presentation and customer service skills.
Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
