Clarify is looking for a Director, Revenue Operations to build the team necessary to provide analytical and other critical resources for the company’s rapidly growing sales effort. They will be the thought and execution partner to sales leaders, providing insight through hypothesis driven analysis, conducting quarterly and annual planning, defining success metrics and creating scalable reporting, and designing workflows and systems.

The Role

- Build and lead a high performing sales operations team that supports the sales organization
- Partnering with RevOps, Business Operations, and ELT/OLT to drive improved transparency and metrics that result in growth and efficiency, meeting Clarify's goal around Operational Excellence
- Define, manage, and provide insights on key performance metrics to ensure 360-degree command of the business
- Provide actionable recommendations and facilitate data-driven decisions with sales leadership through exceptional business partnering and strategic thinking
- Manage the full operational performance of each segment and drive towards repeatable, predictable motions
- Design and manage core sales ops processes such as expansion planning, patch optimization, target setting, leading indicator management, and forecasting
- Evaluate core sales processes, reporting, and systems and identify opportunities to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness. Define requirements and work with systems teams to implement team tooling.
- Building out the quote to order process, including tracking all contract and other sales documentation, monitoring customer and legal counsel turnaround of documentation, liaising with relevant customer counterparty/ies, and maintaining a repository of all final, signed documents
- Being aware of and, as appropriate, implementing relevant technical and other tools to ensure smooth operation of Clarify’s Sales/Business Development/ Marketing infrastructure
- Liaising with colleagues in Clarify’s Finance function regarding appropriate revenue recognition treatment of existing and new contracts and regarding appropriate booking and payment of sales incentives
- Partner closely with cross-functional partners on priority go-to-market initiatives

What we are looking for

- We are always looking for new team members who will add to our culture and have a strong passion for impact. In particular, this professional will have:
- 8+ years prior experience in sales or customer success strategy and operations for a high growth company, or operational experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or business insights / analytics roles
- 4+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated success in building & coaching a team, in building an inclusive, positive, and high-performance culture, and in retention and team member development
- Demonstrated ability to scale and equip the business in a strategic manner, communicate big picture opportunities and make data-driven decisions
- A proactive, consultative approach, ability to build trust consistently and quickly
- An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Proficient in excel and analytical tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams with deep analytical skills
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in a business discipline
- CPA or MBA preferred
