Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The CFO manages financial resources, develops budgets, prepares financial reports, and provides recommendations on financial matters to the Executive Director and the Board.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local financial regulations.
Manage the organization's financial resources and develop operating and capital budgets.
Supervise functions related to reimbursement, budgeting, grants, and accounting.
Prepare financial reports outlining the organization's financial positions.
Coordinate the timely filing of financial reports as required.
Recommend budget planning guidelines to the Board and assist in budget preparation.
Provide insurance protection and make recommendations on costs and rates.
Participate in cost analysis and audits of financial activities.
Direct facilities maintenance and serve as Secretary of the Finance Committee.

Qualifications

*Minimum Qualifications:*

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
10 years of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
2 years of supervisory, administrative, managerial, or consulting experience.
Proficiency in Accounting Information Systems and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

CPA Licensure and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
8 years of full-time experience in health care financial management.
4 years of supervisory, administrative, managerial, or consulting experience.
Knowledge of eClinical Works EMR software and CYMA Accounting software.

Physical Demands

Requires periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. The position may involve significant job-related stress, and evening work may be required.
