Sales Operations Manager

Location: Liverpool / Hybrid

Remuneration: £40,000.00 + Package

Due to continued growth Bellrock Technologies is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic SaaS company. This role is pivotal in optimising sales processes, driving operational efficiency, and enabling the sales team to achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, data analysis, SaaS contract reviewal and CRM management, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance the overall sales strategy.

What you’re responsible for

Sales Process Optimisation:

Develop, implement, and refine sales processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the sales pipeline to improve deal velocity.
Create and maintain documentation for sales processes and best practices.

SaaS Contract Review Responsibilities:

Review, analyse, and negotiate SaaS agreements, ensuring terms align with company policies and legal standards.
Assess and mitigate risks related to data privacy, intellectual property, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, procurement, legal, and IT) to ensure contract compliance and clarity.
Track contract renewals, amendments, and termination clauses to manage timelines and obligations effectively.
Provide input on best practices for SaaS vendor management and risk assessment.
Ensure adherence to global compliance standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, or other relevant regulations.

CRM and Sales Tools Management:

Manage the company’s CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability.
Evaluate, implement, and optimise sales tools to enhance productivity and alignment with business objectives.
Train the sales team on CRM usage and ensure adoption of new tools and processes.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast performance, and provide actionable insights.
Develop and deliver regular sales performance reports to leadership, highlighting key metrics such as pipeline health, win rates, and revenue projections.
Collaborate with finance to align sales forecasting with revenue targets.

Collaboration with Sales Leadership:

Partner with the sales team to align operational strategies with business goals.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and customer acquisition strategies.
Support sales leadership in territory planning, quota setting, and performance reviews.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure alignment on lead generation, customer retention, and product feedback.
Serve as a bridge between sales and other departments to streamline communication and collaboration.

Revenue Growth Initiatives:

Assist in designing and implementing incentive programs to motivate the sales team.
Monitor and refine the sales compensation structure to ensure alignment with company goals.
Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches and expansion into new markets.

Your knowledge, skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Knowledge of SaaS business models, sales cycles, and subscription-based revenue metrics (e.g., ARR, MRR, churn).
