Overview:

Summary

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing, specifying, and validating the organization's business needs. In this role, the Sales Operations Analyst will assist in designing, developing, and launching efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data supporting business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The Sales Operations Analyst is also responsible for supporting the development process and ensuring that project deliverables are met according to specifications. Furthermore, we expect the Sales Operations Analyst to actively participate in the implementation phase of projects and take an active role in administering the processes they have helped design, ensuring that the systems and solutions developed are effectively integrated into the organization's workflow and continue to meet the specified requirements over time.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Collaborates with project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
Participates in interviews and data analysis to document requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
Develops and utilizes standard templates to write requirement specifications accurately and concisely.
Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions.
Collects, interprets, and performs analysis across large data sets and relational databases.
Translates conceptual user requirements into data transformation or reporting requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers and the project team.
Provides quality assurance of imported data, working with developers and DBA's as needed.
Works with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements.
Supports the creation of process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and the project team.
Creates end user Power BI dashboards and Excel spreadsheets to support business needs.

Administers and maintains Power BI workspaces.
Administers and oversees the implementation of the designed processes to ensure ongoing efficiency and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Experience working in data analysis, modeling, verification and development
SQL Experience
Power BI / DAX skills
Excel skills
Experience with Data Mapping
Experience with Data Modeling
Familiarity with sourcing data from Data Warehouse and data mining
Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language
Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent PC skills and technical fluency
Familiarity with software and database development and network architecture
Exemplary attention to detail

Pay Range

$75,000 - $100,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
