Responsibilities

Hire, train, coach and mentor the operations and sales teams in order to exceed sales goals.
Lead the development and execution of the company’s go-to-market strategy.
Ensure excellence in execution of the sales plan & processes to effectively on-board new business.
Design demand generation campaigns and go-to-market initiatives teaming with leadership partners, tracking progress, measuring success and holding team members accountable.
Work closely with the entire Core Logistics US and Near Shore teams to drive heightened collaboration across internal partners in driving the "All Owns All" company platform.
Build, maintain and insure team adherence to performance metrics within Core's CRM Platform.
Oversee sale's & operation's team members ensuring all requisite paperwork is processed in an effective and timely manner through appropriate channels. These include but are not limited to PTO Requests, Expense Reports, Rate Cons, PODs, BOLs etc....
Directly support sales activities in the office and the field.
Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes to track progress against targets.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry organizations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years Sales & Operations experience in the Logistics Industry.
Highly developed individual and team leadership skills.
Well versed in the areas of Spot Market Bidding, Carrier Sales, Track & Trace and Support TMS Environments.
Strong ability to build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with direct reports and clients.
Excellent negotiation skills to drive successful outcomes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective business interactions.
Proven ability to manage time effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in multitasking, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated capacity to inspire performance & hold direct reports accountable for productivity metrics.
Capacity to operate and lead within the scope of Core's Corporate Values Platform.
