Position Title: Vice President, Sales Operations

Reports to: CEO or other designated by CEO

FSLA Status: Exempt

Job Summary: The Vice President of Sales Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the sales organization. This position involves managing and optimizing sales processes, implementing sales strategies, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
Lead the sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.
Identify opportunities for sales growth and market expansion.

Sales Process Optimization:

Streamline and optimize sales processes from lead generation to deal closure.
Implement best practices and tools to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the sales pipeline.

Sales Performance Management:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure sales performance.
Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.

Sales Enablement:

Develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, resources, and support to succeed.
Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, presentations, and other materials.

Sales Technology and Tools:

Evaluate and implement sales technology solutions to support sales operations and improve efficiency.
Ensure proper integration and utilization of CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other sales software.
Stay abreast of emerging sales technologies and trends.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Foster collaboration and alignment between sales, marketing, finance, product development, and other departments.
Work closely with finance to establish sales quotas, incentive plans, and compensation structures.

Leadership and Team Management:

Provide strong leadership and direction to the sales operations team.
Mentor and develop sales operations professionals to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related role (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in sales operations leadership roles, preferably in a high-growth Healthcare or B2B environment.
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $167,000.00 per year
