Position Summary

The Sales Operations Manager, is responsible for optimizing the success of the DiaSorin organization’s commercial team by managing sales analytics, processes and identifying key acceleration strategies. Their duties include creating and implementing sales processes, overseeing commercial forecasting, leading Salesforce administration and planning and strategizing commercial goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Developing and implementing commercial processes for forecasting, analytics and salesforce administration

Researching and analyzing data to create commercial forecasts

Collaborating with other departments and upper management to identify business goals

Identifying opportunities to accelerate the commercial process by analyzing sales data and consumer trends

Creating and managing automation tools to increase sales process efficiency

Implementing and manage CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales and marketing process improvements and develop and implement new strategies

Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing commercial team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary

Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and upper management

Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities

Technology skills to utilize Salesforce, Tableau, Marketing Cloud and database software tools in daily tasks

Immunodiagnostics experience preferred

Research and reporting skills to analyze trends to create sales forecasts

Medical Device and/or Immunodiagnostic experience preferred

Bachelor’s degrees preferred in Business, Economics, Finance or similar, required.

MBA preferred

Experience: 5 years of experience in sales management with at least 2 years directly in sales operations preferred.
