Deal Desk Management:

Collaborate with the Global Sales team on deal structuring and quote creation for channel and customers
Support the deal desk process – including contract approvals, preparation for booking, liaising with others to ensure smooth processing and delivery.
Understand pricing models, competitive pricing, and internal cost structures
Enable field to create customer and company positive deals – training and guidance on pricing strategies, contract negotiations, DD processes, and quote creation.
Monitor and chase pricing exception approvals, escalate when appropriate and build a strong relationship with approvers and sales teams.
Check for forecast accuracy by ensuring the correct quote is reflecting on the opportunity in Salesforce.com.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance and optimize sales systems and reporting.
Ensure data hygiene of opportunity, quote and product information

Sales Process Improvement:

Collaborate with the sales team to streamline and improve sales processes.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation to enhance sales productivity.
Implement and monitor best practices to ensure a smooth and efficient sales workflow.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in sales operations and analytics.

RevOps Support

Collaborate with the sales team to address day to day operational inquiries and issues
Collaborate with Sales and finance on incentives/spiffs
Assist in booking orders
Perform post close audit reviews to ensure the correct SKU and support information is copied over to the contract record correctly.
Assist sales and finance in end of quarter/end of year close as needed

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven 3+ years previous Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Business Operations or Price / Quote experience preferred
Understanding and experience with SaaS, subscription and perpetual models desirable
Experience with Salesforce.com and Salesforce CPQ
Ability to manage expectations of a sales team with tight deadlines and constantly changing priorities
Aptitude to manage discounting and margins for partners
Highly responsive with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize and manage your own workload with minimal oversight

· Desire to work closely with finance and Sales and has a ‘Sales Friendly’ mentality
