Overview & Job Description

First off, this is a commission-based position. It comes with tremendous opportunity for earnings, but it is designed with intent for experienced, senior-level B2B salespeople. If you are still interested, please continue to read on.

Echo It, LLC is seeking a friendly, charismatic B2B CSO to present and sell our marketing communication services primarily to small and medium size companies that simply does not have the budget for a dedicated, FT chief marketing officer / marketing director or an in-house marketing team.

Such businesses are in desperate need of marcom services, which include but are not limited to:

· Web development & SEO

· Brand development and / or promoting awareness

· Digital and print ads

· Marketing collateral (brochures, catalogs, case studies, video and radio scripts, eBooks, etc.)

· Press releases & distribution

· Fractional CMO services

· 30/60/90-day targeted campaign planning and management

· 30/60/90-day social media planning and management

· General marcom consultation

They might just not know it.

That brings us to your job:

· Collaborate with Echo It businessowner and work independently to identify ideal target clients who fit the profile mentioned above. This will include screening prospects and deciphering which are worth pursuing and which are not. Determine the prospects’ needs, budgets, and desire for a long-term partnership

· Foster relationships with key decision-makers of those organizations, both for-profit and non-profit in order to generate rapport for marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and ultimately sales qualified leads (SQLs)

· Collaborate with Echo It businessowner on pitch decks for various industries and organizational sizes. Customize as needed for individual presentations.

· Manage sales process and contract renewals.

· Stay abreast of latest business communication needs and trends, as to ensure we are continuing to meet those needs.

What’s in it for you? Total transparency.

Echo It, LLC offers three central tiers for businesses in need of communication partners:

· Tier 1: $3,500 / mo for 6 months.

· Tier 2: $6,000 / mo for 6 months.

· Tier 3: $10,000 / mo for 12 months (generally, enterprise level).

We also offer a la carte services on a monthly as add-ons.

As such, you would be compensated as follows:

· Tier 1: $1,680 for every signed contract, including renewals

· Tier 2: $4,320 for every signed contract, including renewals

· Tier 3: $18,000 for every signed contract, including renewals

A la carte: 5% of the agreed upon price for that month.

(No, it’s not a lot, but it’s a nice bonus to your regular stream of income, especially if you consistently up-sell every month and you do it with multiple clients.)

Requirements

· Proven track-record of success in the B2B space across various industries. Demonstrate the book of business you have built for one or various companies over the long-term, how long each client partnership lasted, and how you continued to build as opposed to rested on existing residuals.

· A minimum of 8 years of experience as a B2B salesperson with a history of successive achievements and promotional opportunities up to the CSO / Sales Director level. Book of business should include a mix of small, medium, and enterprise with a greater emphasis on small – medium size businesses that have a budget for a communications partner

· Charisma. Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the talent to influence and dazzle. This is not only important when closing sales, but is also important in keeping clients happy as they may look to exit the partnership later in time or start conversations with competitors.

· Inquisitive nature. You don’t have to know everything about the marketing space. Let the marketing experts handle that. You DO have know or be willing to learn as much as needed in order to transfer the feelings of “essentiality of communications” and “excitement” to prospects and current clients.

· Schedule flexibility. This is not a typical 9:00 – 5:00. The good news is that it doesn’t require you to work 40 hours per week, necessarily. It does, however, require you to be available for Echo It meetings, prospects, and clients as needed. This may include some nights and weekends. On the other hand, there may be days when you can rest or just spend a few hours prospecting, making phone calls, or knocking on doors and then taking the rest of the day off. We’re looking for results, not time.
