We seek a deal desk leader to help accelerate growth on the portfolio. This individual will be responsible for ensuring deal pricing and deal tactics meet the standards and is consistent with our monetization strategy and pricing tactics. They will also have a leadership role in price governance in CPQ and CRM. The position requires the ability to apply expertise in pricing tactics, technical knowledge of CPQ and CRM systems, and experience with pricing across multiple channels.

The deal desk leader will play an integral role in inspiring a high-performance and feedback culture. They will collaborate with business and functional leadership, ensuring measurement and continuous improvement in price execution of purchases, subscriptions, and renewals.

This position will report to the Pricing Director and will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pricing systems-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations ensuring effective change management of CPQ and deal desk capabilities
Lead deal reviews with senior leaders for large or exceptional deals to gain approval and alignment on tactics to win.
Develop, maintain, and present timely and actionable insights on KPI reporting, including changes in outcomes related to price realization, deal escalations, and cycle times
Collaborate with other teams such as Sales Operations, Finance, product management to align pricing decisions and tactics with overall business strategy
Provide guidance and support to other departments on pricing-related matters
Troubleshoot and problem solve pricing issues across various CRM, CPQ, and ERP systems
Enhance/automate the Management Operating System (MOS) to provide accurate, fast data for business decision support
Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of Pricing thought leadership
Work independently, collaborate effectively, and manage numerous priorities

YOU MUST HAVE

5+ years of experience with proven B2B pricing strategies, tactics, and techniques such as value-based pricing, segmentation, and discount controls
5+ years of deal management and experience with CPQ and related pricing tools
5+ years of experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders

WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, marketing finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Knowledge and application of SaaS pricing & packaging best practices; B2B deal management techniques such as Negotiating with Backbone
Knowledge of financial metrics, P&L, and their drivers of success
Intellectually curious mindset and desire for continuous learning and improvement
Strong ownership mindset, with proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet tight deadlines, and perform well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Familiar and comfortable with large complex matrix organizations; success in managing through influence and persuasion in a highly matrixed structure
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Bias for action, results oriented, strong process improvement mindset (change agent)
Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills
Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PROS, and SAP systems
Familiarity with Tableau and PowerApps/PowerBI
Minimum of 1 year Project Management experience
