The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will support a range of services across the key commercial areas. This role is intended to deliver data-driven insights to the Global Business Development team (GBD) and support Sales and Business strategy performance, through thoughtful analyses, cadenced reporting, research, KPI support, and actionable dashboard creation. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities: *

Develop and present compelling data-driven analyses of commercial and operational data.
Support the Global Business Development team with necessary cadenced and ad-hoc analyses, intended to drive continuous improvement as well as drive opportunity identification/exploration activities.
Gather and organize data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, to generate in-depth customer and market insights to enhance sales productivity
Proactively track, maintain, and design new reports, analytics and dashboards as needed for our reporting processes, including leads, opportunities, pipeline, productivity, and forecasting.
Build repeatable processes and reporting to enable sales leaders and reps with critical operational and performance data related to sales strategy and execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent reporting standards and processes.
Track and monitor weekly, monthly, and annual reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by the SVP, including but not limited to; sales funnel by stage, attrition rated by stage, sales cycle length by stage/overall market segmentation by customer type, push rates, win rate, reason for won/lost opportunities, hit/strike rates and more.
Track and monitor sales forecast progress on a weekly basis by collaborating closely with GBD team on sales funnel activity to ensure accurate data
At SVPs direction, partner with other stakeholders within ECL to develop dashboards and data reports to help the business understand the current commercial operations and health of the company
At SVPs direction, collaborate and develop Marketing Dashboards and KPIs to track marketing campaign ROI and effectiveness
Assist in managing weekly sales meetings, capturing notes/competitive feedback and other sales support activities.
Leads Salesforce.com development in creating technical solutions to support the Commercial Operations and improve capability and customer detail and data
Support the GBD team in adhering to pipeline management activities and Salesforce.com best practices, including training and support in using Salesforce database.

Minimum Qualifications:

MBA or MBAn strongly preferred
Bachelor Degree required
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
Experience with Sales team in pharmaceutical, clinical, or technical field preferred
Strong understanding of Salesforce or comparable CRM required (Salesforce Administrator, Developer or Architect certificate preferred)

2+ years of sales operations or performing financial, marketing, or statistical analysis required
