Summary

The Sales Operations Project Manager is responsible for overseeing operational planning, tracking, reporting/communication, business change management, value realization, and successful execution of key projects within the organization. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, process improvement, and business development initiatives. The Sales Operations Project Manager will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meet timeline needs, and drive overall business success.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Manage key projects across the organization, including accelerating revenue growth, process improvement, and business development initiatives. Develop and execute project action plans, ensuring that requirements are met by responsible parties within specified timelines.
Business Development Analysis: Act as a Business Development analyst responsible for pipeline reporting and projections. Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business growth strategies.
CRM Management: Own and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Audit CRM inputs for accuracy and completeness, ensuring data integrity. Leverage CRM data to generate reports and provide actionable recommendations.
Sales Support: Manage each prospective client as a project, providing progress updates, outlining next steps, identifying risks, and following up on action items with the sales team. Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
Operational Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operational plans for project execution. Define project goals, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Coordinate resources, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Communication and Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to senior staff members. Clearly communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Facilitate effective communication channels between project stakeholders.
Change Management: Support business change management efforts by driving adoption and acceptance of project deliverables. Identify potential risks and develop change management strategies to ensure successful project implementation.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align project objectives and foster a collaborative working environment. Act as a team player, fostering positive relationships and promoting effective teamwork.
Technical Skills: Utilize strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions. Leverage technology tools and resources to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency.
Professional Certifications (Nice to have): PMP-Certified, Scrum Master-Certified, or Black Belt Six Sigma.

This is a highly visible position within the organization that requires a proactive, energetic, and creative problem solver. The Sales Operations Project Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, process improvement, and successful project execution across the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Sales Operations Project Manager will report directly to the Lead Project Manager, with a dotted line to the Chief Revenue Officer.
